Jewish Community

A kehilla or kehillah (קהילה, Hebrew: "community") is a Jewish community. You'll find our kehillah very warm and inviting. We welcome you to become a part of it!

Coffee, Cake & Conversation

Coffee, Cake & Conversation is a monthly discussion group that began in the Fall of 1987. We met in different homes for the first 9 years. Through the generosity of Woodland Heights, we've met at their Living Center since 1996.

Our group meets for coffee and cake, brought by a rotation of our members. We then gather for roughly an hour and a half to spend time on a discussion or listen to a speaker. Topics have ranged from the political scene to contemporary Israel to certain books of the Tanach to holidays and customs. To date, we've taken two tours of the Clinton Library.

Coffee, Cake & Conversation is open to any Temple congregant.

Ciao's Italian Restaurant

Owner and Temple member Becky Mobly is making us a very generous and thoughtful offer: any time a member of the Temple dines at Ciao's Italian Restaurant, she will donate 10% of the meal cost back to the Temple. Just let Becky know you are a member and you want 10% donated back to the Temple and she will send a donation check once a month. Click here for directions. It's a great place to eat!
