Oakland Jewish Cemetery

In 1874, Congregation B'nai Israel purchased a 5 acre site at Oakland Cemetery under the guidance of Fredrick Kramer, a Temple member and Little Rock Mayor. The congregation purchased more land in 1902 and 1926, expanding the cemetery to 9.5 acres. In 2010, Oakland Cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places and a cell phone listening tour was made available. The phone number for the tour is (501)708-0011.
